About Us
Top Teff was founded by Daniel Ishta and Ronen Har Nof in 2019.
Daniel was born in Ethiopia and immigrated to Israel as a child. Daniel grew up on the traditional Ethiopian diet that is based on Injera. Like many other ex-Ethiopian kids in Israel, Daniel became an athlete and became a champion in various distances representing Israel internationally in the field of running.
In his military service Daniel won the IDF championships in 1000 and 2000 meters running. As a fitness officer, and later as a graduate of the Israeli Sports Academy, Daniel became even more aware of the great importance of good and correct nutrition to health in general and athletic achievements in particular. Daniel is coaching the Israel Paralympic blind runners’ team.
Daniel decided to make a teff based diet accessible to all and set off to develop the Top Teff flour.

- To develop TEFF products and proprietary recipes for easy fast preparation
- Promote the fabulous Ethiopian cuisine
- Provide consumers with additional exquisite products out of the Ethiopian cuisine, as well as dedicated cooking equipment
